Case-by-case process control
A case's reimbursement isn't created in billing. It takes shape at every station before it: at admission, in documentation, in coding. Reconcile it only at the end and it's long lost. calliora works alongside each case and makes sure, at every station, that care, evidence, and coding fit together while the case is still open.
Admission
Where a case belongs is decided at admission: outpatient, inpatient, or a hybrid DRG. calliora checks the constellation against the AOP catalogue and the context factors and records the justification for inpatient admission where it originates. No case starts in the wrong billing route, and primary misallocation, one of the most frequent triggers for MD recoveries, never arises.
Coding
Coding and documentation run in the same working context. calliora detects revenue-relevant secondary diagnoses, procedures and supplementary fees that are documented but easily missed: from the comorbidity that raises the PCCL to the service that is reimbursed separately. Every code is backed by the documentation and stands up to a later audit.
Case review
Before a case moves on, calliora checks it against the German coding guidelines, your hospital's own rule set and the typical audit patterns of the Medical Service. Codes without supporting evidence, implausible combinations or a missing justification of the length of stay surface immediately. Gaps are closed while the case is still open and the records are fresh.
MD management
calliora bundles the evidence for the response, and your team answers on time with the proof in place.
Billing
Reviewed and documented, the case moves into billing. DRG, supplementary fees and nursing revenue are complete, and every item can be traced back to the documented service. The final invoice goes out on time.
